The Childrens Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requires that all schools who participate in the E-Rate technology funding provide digital citizenship training. This training should include, "educating minors about appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms, and cyberbullying awareness and response."
