These topics include discussion on would a person realistically survive these injuries, how long would it take someone to go insane, and much more. Dr. Payne also introduces the concept of their being three types of people in this scenario; those who go insane very quickly, those who become so numb to the pain and suffereing that they become nothing more than a robot, and those who thrive in this realm.
