What Is Dead By Daylight?

Dead By Daylight, otherwise known as DBD, is a hit game that came out on June 14th, 2016. In this game one player acts as the killer, and four players act as survivors.

Killers

The killers role in trials is simple; to sacrifice the survivors to The Entity. The Entity is an all powerful being who has full control of the realm in which these killers and survivors have been transported to. The action of sacrificing the survivors is completed by hanging them on sacrificial hooks for The Entity to claim them. However, the survivors have plenty of tricks up their sleeves to survive the trials that lay before them. 

Survivors

The Survivors role in trials are also quite simple; repair the generators and escape. Throughout this process they have to avoid getting caught by the killer or risk a painful death. Once the survivors repair enough generators, some exit gates are powered and the survivors can escape.  

The Entity

The Entity is a mysterious creature that little is known about. It appears to be omni-present and all powerful within its realm. It frequently captures new survivors and killers from the outside world to suffer the same fate as all of their predecessors. Being trapped for an eternity in endless trials, where death is nothing more than a break from the never ending cycle.

The resting place of survivors in-between their trials.
