The program consists of several sessions designed to help new researchers navigate an international conference. Fellows are first introduced to each other and provided with information on "how to conference" in a virtual session the week before RSS. They are also encouraged to connect via Zoom with their assigned mentor. During the conference, students have a welcome breakfast and panel session on the morning of the first workshop day, to help them integrate into the conference activities. Finally, students are again encouraged to meet with their mentor (either in person, if the mentor is at RSS, or virtually if they are not) to check in.
June 23: Welcome and "How to Conference" (virtual)
June 20–24: Connect with your mentor pre-conference (virtual)
June 27: Breakfast and "Pathways Through Robotics" panel on RSS Day 1 (hybrid)
June 27–July 1: RSS! Connect with your mentor during the conference (in person or virtually)
