Our Solution

Our solution is to push gyms outdoors (due to Covid_19)

We believe this solution is most effective because the transmission rate of COVID is less when you're outdoors.
Another reason this is effective is because when you are outside you can also get fresh air while working out.

We can make an outdoors gym so people that went to the gym can still exercise.
The people in the class will be spread apart from each other and be wearing masks.
The class will also be hiring people that worked at the gym, and that are out of jobs.
The class will have to have a small fee, but some of the money will go to shelters and other gyms.
The gym will have an app that will tell you when the next class is. The app will also let you rate your class from 1 to 5.
This gym will be safe and fun!

A way that we could keep all the clients safe is by putting a bottle of hand sanitizer/sanitizer wipes by every workout station. This will be helpful because then everyone would be able to keep their hands clean, especially since they would touch equipment.
Also, the clients would wear masks if it is not a physical activity. Such as weight lifting, jump rope, etc.
In addition, all of the people would also be required to stay socially distant.
The gym equipment would have to be hourly cleaned. So that everything would be clean for the next person to use it.
The outdoor gyms could have a safety officer to make sure everyone and staying safe.
get their temperature taken and report immediately if they have Covid symptoms.

Here is a map of Pittsburgh, as you can see there are lots of areas where we could put the outdoor gyms.
