Ms. Heinke's goal as a school counselor is to promote student growth by focusing on the "whole" child and by supporting academic, character, personal, and career development. As a counselor she seeks to empower each student to reach their highest potential. She also has a focus on enhancing Long Pond's community and climate by challenging and inspiring our students and staff to be upstanders both on and off campus!

About Your School Counselor
About Your School Counselor
Ms. Heinke has a Masters of Science in Professional School Counseling from Russell Sage College. She received her Bachelors of Science in Creative Arts in Therapy with a focus in Psychology.
Ms. Heinke values character building, self-discovery, health and wellness, career/college readiness, and fostering a community of kindness.
Outside of school you can find Ms. Heinke being creative whether that be painting, embroidering, or crafting, enjoying the outdoors, and playing fetch with her German Shepherd, Maverick!
