Charger Pride Assemblies - Quarterly

Charger Pride Assemblies celebrates the positivity, engagement, and selflessness our students display throughout the month. Staff and students are encouraged to dress in Charger spirit gear the day of a Charger Pride Assembly, our students have a chance to win prizes from the Charger Cash raffle, the Chargers of The Month will be recognized, and we will shout-out sports, clubs, and classes that have been crushin' it!

Grade Level House Meetings - Monthly

Monthly Grade Level "House" Meetings provide a time for our students to come together as a class and refect on the month. What worked? What needs improvment? Where did you find success? The Chargers of the Month will be announced during House Meetings and our Charger Cash raffel winner will also be pulled.

Charger Cash

Charger Cash serves as a school-wide way to reward students for actions that reflect what it means to be a Charger! Charger Characteristics include being respectful, responsible, empathetic, studious, reliable and more, students who are caught displaying these traits will receive Charger Cash. Charger Cash is then turned in to Ms. Heinke and organized by grade. On Charger Days, three Charger Cash from each grade will be randomly drawn and the winners will receive a prize.

This program has been developed based off of New Jersey

Examples how to earn Charger Cash:

Help a peer
Being kind
Making a new student feel welcome
Having a positive attitude
Volunteering in class

Charger of The Month

Charger of The Month is awarded to students who exemplify the theme of the month! This is decided by each grade level's teaching team. Chargers of The Month are celebrated with their families at a breakfast in June. Keep your eye out for an invite coming in May!

Monthly Themes for Charger of the Month:

September - Community Building: Students who partner willingly with anyone, welcome new students to the building, and show patience as classrooms establish routines.

October - Respect: Students who intentionally include others, use exceptional manners, and de-escalate disagreements.

November - Citizenship: Students who are leaders, sacrifice free time to help others, or take pride in keeping school a great place to be.

December - Trustworthiness: Students who follow rules, return found valuables, and can be trusted with independent errands.

January - Responsibility: Students who return from winter break highly focused, own up to mistakes without making excuses, and consistently meet deadlines.

February - Caring: Students who notice and comfort others having a tough day, spread positivity, or deliberately act to make others feel welcome.

March - Fairness: Students who ensure everyone gets an equal turn during group projects and class activities and listen to all perspectives.

April - The Resilient Charger: Students who serve as calm anchors for their peers during high-stakes testing weeks and maintain character when tired.

May - The Exemplary Charger: Grand-scale student ambassadors nominated as the top leaders who represent the absolute best of your school's culture.
