RULER is an evidence based SEL approach created by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. RULER is an acronym for the 5 skills of emotional intelligence that are the foundation of creating a culture where:
Emotional Intelligence skills are valued and fostered
Emotions are not judged as "good" or "bad"
We value the impact of emotions and choose to respond to them in helpful ways
