Policies & Procedures
Every day you will need to check the board to see what you will need for each class period. Feel free to bring and wear your mask if you would like.
All backpacks will be placed at the back of the classroom by the tables. Make sure to look at the board to see what you will need in class each day.
We will begin each day with a short warm-up. You can still participate even if you are not yet at your seat.
Our class will consist of daily rehearsal, sight-singing instruction, lessons in vocal technique, cross-discipline projects, and various assignments.
We will also be taking ownership of our rehearsal space by doing regular cleaning. Besides the regular pick-up that is expected every day, we will have a weekly chore chart for each grade.
On Thursdays, each grade will be doing one of the following:
Wiping down music stands
Vacuuming/picking up any little pieces of trash
Wiping down the whiteboards and tables.
We will not be taking bathroom breaks as a class, but if an emergency arises you can go to the bathroom in the front office. If you need to leave the classroom for any reason, make sure to scan the QR code on the Hall Pass, fill out the form to sign out, and fill it out again when you come back in.
