The Be AMITY! program at AMSB began at the start of the 2016-17 school year as a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative to teach behavioral expectations and recognize students for meeting those expectations. Since its first year, Be AMITY! has come to encompass multiple initiatives that support the socio-emotional development of students and contribute to a positive school climate.
