The 1st Annual Be AMITY! 5K Fundraiser and Fun Run
What: A superhero-themed 5K road race or 1 mile Fun Run/Walk followed by a post-race food truck party! Proceeds will go to the Be AMITY! Committee for future programming, incentive-based initiatives and to support local families in times of need
When: Saturday, November 17, 2018
Registration Begins at 9am
5K Begins at 10am
Fun Run/Walk Begins at 10:15am
Where: Amity Middle School Bethany
Who: All Amity students and staff; any community members; and runners of all ages!
Cost: $30 for Amity students; $35 for everyone else
There is also a kids fun run in the back field for $5 dollars cash donation per child! Donations can be brought to the event.

- If you are registering an Amity student:
- Log in to your MyPayments Plus account, select Be Amity 5K under Other Events and submit payment.
- If you are a staff member, parent, or other member of the community:
- Go to MyPayments Plus.
- Click Register Now and register yourself as a GUEST.
- Once you are registered, scroll down to the bottom of the home page. Here you will find an "Other Payments" menu with the Be AMITY 5K listed under School Events.
- Select the event and complete the payment process.
- You may register multiple participants under one account.

Distance: 5K (3.1 miles); Start and end at AMSB parking lot
Services: Water stop at Bethany Dog Park; course/traffic control by Bethany State Troopers; medical services on call

Sponsorship Information
We are offering the opportunity for local families or businesses to sponsor the Be AMITY! 5K this year. There are multiple sponsorship options to choose from:
Presenting Donor: $2000- Event title to include company name, premium placement on all promotional materials, verbal recognition at the event and 5 entries to the 5k
Platinum Donor: $1000- Premium placement on all promotional materials, verbal recognition at the event and 3 entries to the 5k
Gold Donor: $500- Verbal recognition at the event and 2 entries to the 5k
Silver Donor: $250-Verbal recognition at the event
