Cleveland Foundation Scholarships (2026–2027)
The Cleveland Foundation Scholarship application is now open! Students complete one general application to be automatically matched with multiple scholarships they qualify for—no separate applications required.
Eligibility: Minimum 2.0 GPA; U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen (including refugee or asylum status). Scholarships are available for students from Cleveland suburbs, Cuyahoga County, and beyond.

The Lorain Soil & Water Conservation District
The Lorain Soil & Water Conservation District makes a $1,000 scholarship available to high school seniors.
Basic requirements include:
1. Must be enrolled for the fall quarter/semester 2026 at a two or four-year institution, college, or university in Ohio, as a full-time student.
2. Must be enrolled in an agricultural or natural resource-related field.
3. Must be a resident of Lorain County.
4. Payment will be made to the student after the following:
Payment receipt received for spring quarter/second semester fees (2027)
2.5 GPA or better for the first quarter/semester
Must be continuing his/her education in an agricultural or natural resource-related field
Scholarship payments must be claimed by June 30, 2027
5. A transcript of your high school grades must be attached to the scholarship application form. A minimum of a 2.5 grade point average is required for
consideration.
LorMet Forge Your Future Scholarship
LorMet is offering five (5) $2,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors with this year’s Forge Your Future Scholarship program. The scholarship will open for applications on Friday, February 6, 2026.
DIRECTIONS CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Directions Credit Union Scholarship program will include 12 College scholarships of $1,000 each (a total of $12,000). Scholarships will be awarded throughout the communities Directions serves. The college scholarship will be paid jointly to the student and the school they attend, and applied to their school tuition.
Students are encouraged to submit their applications now through March 14, 2026.
Eligibility
The applicant must be:
A member of Directions Credit Union or has a parent or grandparent who is a member.
A graduating high school senior or a current full-time student, attending an accredited college, community college, or vocational/trade school.
*All Directions Credit Union employees, board members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate
Community Foundation of Lorain County
All applicants must complete our Universal Application, which is designed to automatically match their skills and financial needs with specific criteria for each scholarship. This streamlines the application process, eliminating the need for multiple submissions. Starting January 1, 2026, you may apply for the 2026 school year. Begin by creating a profile and selecting the scholarship option. Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email no later than May 1, 2026

Breezeline - Future of Ohio Scholarship
Breezeline is offering high school students the opportunity to win $25,000 in scholarships!
Breezeline, an internet provider servicing Ohio, has launched its annual “Future of Ohio” scholarship. The scholarship is open to high school seniors who expect to enroll in a university, community college, or trade school in Fall 2026. The application is available through the link here. Applications are due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The Lorain Foundation Scholarship
The Lorain Foundation awards scholarships annually from its General Fund to support students with tuition, room, and board at two- and four-year colleges and universities. Graduating high School seniors must live in the City of Lorain to be eligible to apply. Scholarship recipients and award amounts are determined at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Lorain Foundation. Students who are awarded scholarships from the Foundation are also eligible for a one-time renewal scholarship the following year. If you are eligible for a renewal scholarship, then you will need to complete the application and return it (along with all other required documents) to the Foundation by the deadline date.
Lester C. Marrison Teacher Education Grant
The Ohio School Boards Association Northeast Region is offering its annual Lester C. Marrison Teacher Education Grant for high school seniors in Northeast Ohio,

2026 Mighty Goliath Productions Scholarship
We are looking for students entering either 2 or 4-year college, or current college students, who have participated for at least two years in either school-level performing arts or community theatre.

2026 Northeast Ohio APWA Scholarship
The Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) is offering ten $1,000 scholarships to students residing in the Northeast Ohio area enrolled in a Public Works field of study, including Engineering, Administrative, Vocational/Trade, and Environmental Impact/Water Quality disciplines. We are encouraging qualified applicants from your school district/educational institution to apply by February 27, 2026.

Cavaliers Scholarship Program Supported by Huntington Bank
Awards five (5) graduating high school seniors a $10,000 scholarship towards college or a vocational/trade school during the 2026-2027 academic year. Five (5) runners-up will be selected to receive a $1,000 Huntington Savings Account. View official rules.

Are you a teen with a passion for supporting the community? You may be eligible for the Ignite My Future Scholarship, available exclusively for Club Ignite members. Each year, FFCCU awards two (2) $1,000 scholarships to deserving high-school students. Our 2026 application begins soon, and the deadline for applications will be January 31, 2026.

Navy Nurse NROTC Scholarship
The Navy Nurse Option of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarship Program provides motivated and high-achieving students the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree while preparing to serve as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. This highly competitive program is designed to identify and select well-rounded candidates who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, athletic participation, and a commitment to service.
BASIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS*:
Be a U.S. citizen (by birth or naturalization).
Be 17 years old by Sept 1 of the college start year and under 23 years old on Dec 31 of that year (must not reach 27 by Dec 31 of graduation year; age waivers may apply for prior service up to 36 months, not to exceed age 30).
Hold or be on track to receive a high school diploma (or equivalent) by Aug 1 of the program entry year.
MEET ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
SAT: Minimum 550 Evidence-Based Reading/Writing (EBRW), 540 Math, 1100 combined.
ACT: Minimum 22 English, 21 Math, 44 combined. Applicants without access to the SAT/ACT may apply with an AFQT score of 81+ on the ASVAB.
Complete the NROTC Applicant Fitness Assessment (AFA). Successfully pass a Department of Defense Medical Evaluation Review Board (DoDMERB) physical.
Demonstrate no moral or personal objections to taking the oath of office and serving as a Navy officer.
The Ohio JCI Senate Charitable and Education Foundation Scholarship Program
The Ohio JCI Senate C & E Foundation is made up of the life members of the Ohio JCI Senate who were members of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).
You have three (3) categories of scholarships to choose from:
CATEGORY 1 - Academic-Based
CATEGORY 2 - Need-Based
CATEGORY 3 - Vocational
In the Academic-Based category, the top two (2) students selected will each receive a $1000.00 scholarship grant. In addition, the top two (2) recipients’ applications from this category will be submitted to the US JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program.
Scholarship grants at the national level will be awarded in amounts of $1,500 or $ 2,000 to 50 graduating high school seniors in the United States who are attending a United States-accredited college or university.
In the Need-Based category, there will be at least two (2) students selected, each receiving a $1,000.00 scholarship grant. One (1) of these is a designated scholarship grant which will be given to a student who is a resident in one of the following counties: Allen, Putnam, or Van Wert.
In the Vocational category, the top student selected will receive a $1,000 grant. The top application from this category will be submitted to the US JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program. Ten (10) students selected at the national level will each be awarded $1000.00 scholarship grant to further their education by attending any United States vocational, technical, or trade school.
Students may only apply to one (1) category. Please select the category in which you wish to have your application judged and attach the enclosed page to the top of your application.
2026/2027 Cleveland Browns Foundation Marion Motley Scholarship

The Cleveland Browns Foundation, in partnership with College Now Greater Cleveland, has made it their mission to help local high school students pursue their dreams of a college education through the Marion Motley Scholarship Program.
Applications are being accepted now through March 6th, 2026.
The Cleveland Browns Foundation Marion Motley Scholarship Program is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student whose long-term career goal could include working in education or for a professional sports organization in any of a variety of capacities.
The Cleveland Browns Foundation and College Now annually seek two deserving students who are on track to graduate from high school in 2026 to receive a four-year, renewable scholarship in the amount of $2,500 per year. The partnership between the Cleveland Browns Foundation and College Now has awarded more than $400,000 in scholarship funds to 40 students.
The Cleveland Browns Foundation Marion Motley Scholarship was named after one of the Browns' 16 Pro Football Hall of Famers, former halfback Marion Motley.
One of the first four African Americans to integrate professional football in 1946, Motley overcame many obstacles on his way to 3,024 yards and 31 touchdowns in four championship seasons in the AAFC, and another 1,688 yards and eight touchdowns in five years in the NFL. Motley was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1968 and the Cleveland Browns' Ring of Honor in 2010.
Requirements
Applicants must be high school seniors graduating in 2026 who plan to major in areas that could lead to a career working in education or for a professional sports organization, such as but not limited to: accounting, business, communications, event management, exercise science, finance, graphic, design, human resources, information technology, journalism, kinesiology, marketing/advertising, public relations, or sports management.
The Padriac Routa Memorial Foundation
A 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Elyria. Our mission is dedicated to empowering the next generation of creative leaders and entrepreneurs. We provide scholarships and resources to young adults pursuing careers in the arts and entrepreneurship, honoring Padriac Routa’s commitment to innovation and artistic expression.
This scholarship aims to support students interested in the arts and entrepreneurship as they transition from high school to college. Our goal is to support students who demonstrate great promise and drive, but may lack the necessary financial resources and social support to thrive.
Award: A $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to 2 applicants.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to any high school senior in Ohio who is planning to pursue a career in the creative arts or entrepreneurship.
Focus: We especially encourage applications from students in the Northeast Ohio region, with the goal of fueling the next generation of dreamers and doers.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by February 21, 2026.

Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarship
Deadline: January 31, 2026
The NROTC Scholarship Program offers students the opportunity to earn their degree while developing valuable leadership and management skills, and enjoying the benefits of an exciting career.
Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE)
Deadline: March 1st
The OAPSE/AFSCME Memorial Scholarship Program is available to children whose parent or legal guardian is a member in good standing of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE/AFSCME Local 4/AFL-CIO). Under the program, scholarships of $2,500.00 each are awarded to at least one winner from each of the ten (10) OAPSE Districts selected from the applicants who meet the eligibility requirements.
Any graduating high school senior who is a daughter or son of an active OAPSE/AFSCME member or whose legal guardian is an active OAPSE/AFSCME member and who intends to enroll in a full-time degree program in any two (2) or four (4) year accredited university, college, business, or technical school is eligible to apply for a scholarship. The scholarships may be used for any field of study.
To be eligible, all information or supportive documentation requested in the application must be postmarked by March 1 and sent to the committee.
