Section 1: Inquiry Question and Concept Exploration
Explanation of the guiding question or concept
Inquiry Statement: How can I use color, shape, and line to transform a flat surface into a dynamic, three-dimensional form?
Section 2: Connection
Cultural, historical, and artistic influences with critical evaluation.
Artistic Connection: Include an image from our artist, the citation, and a brief analysis of her work (day 2)
Though her style wasn't really one I was drawn to, I did really appreciate the way this artist used colors and brush strokes in this particular work, which I found to be the most appealing. The vibrancy in this work is what captured my attention the most. I do believe that this work uses color theory quite prominently, as is shown with the contrasting greens and reds throughout the piece, creating a vibrancy that might otherwise not have been as eye-catching.
Even though this quite differs from the work we are attempting to mimic, I did find it was my favorite piece of her's.
Section 3: Investigate
Visual evidence of material tests, alternate compositions, sketches.
Video Notes on Acrylic Paint (day 1)
Acrylic Study Worksheet (day 1)
Experimentation. How did you go above and beyond the instruction to include your own artistic voice? Maybe it was successful, maybe it was not, either way, include your visual documentation.

Reflection Notes: Any final thoughts you think I should know about the work
I do not like how this turned out. I think the lines are too thick, I think the colors are not coherent enough, and I think I could have done a lot, lot better, with more patience and organisation. This is my weakest work so far
