You must attend one of the Health Sciences Admission Process meetings and complete the onlice application before you can take the TEAS Exam every application period.
All health science programs will use the TEAS to rank applicants and determine which applicants move to a possible admission status. The TEAS scores are only used from the exam taken 12 months prior to the application deadline. The TEAS deadline for entrance into the Fall 2026 semester will be April 13th, 2026. The online application is due April 10th at 3 PM.
The TEAS admission exam is composed of 4 sections that the student will be tested on and will be administered all at the same time. The areas of testing are as follows:
Math - 57 minutes - 38 questions
Reading - 55 minutes - 45 questions
Science - 60 minutes - 50 questions
English & Language Usage (ELU) - 37 minutes - 37 questions
You must receive a Minimum Score: 58.7% (Proficient)

Students testing remotely must select Amarillo College as a transcript recipient during registration to ensure scores are sent to us before the application deadline.

Exam Results - Results will be entered into the application by the West Campus Academic Computing Center Supervisor.
