In the MME department, two laboratories - the welding laboratory and the metallography laboratory - were used to display different equipment. The students volunteered to help with organizing and exhibiting. The main highlights of the event included a Minion and a signboard constructed with the department's initials, made from scraps of metal, and assembled by the second-year students in the facility.

Metallography Lab
In summary, around 3000 students from various schools visited the department laboratories, where our student volunteers provided them with information about non-destructive testing equipment and metallurgical microscopes.
The students were allowed to observe specimens of cast iron and mild steel under the microscope and were also taught about the non-destructive testing and analysis techniques used in industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component, structure, or system without causing damage.
