This course introduces the specific rules that govern gameplay in VIQRC Level Up Matches.
Learning Outcomes
The specific game rules for VIQRC Level Up provide requirements and limitations on how a Robot can interact with Field Elements and Scoring Objects. Because each season’s game is different, rules in this section of the Game Manual change significantly from season to season.
Read the "Specific Game Rules" section on pages 15-18 of the VEX IQ Level Up Game Manual now, and stop when you get to Section 3: "Safety Rules."
After completing this unit, you should be able to:
List the requirements for a Robot at the beginning of a Match
Summarize the rules for expansion in VIQRC Level Up
Describe what happens to a Scoring Object that leaves the Field during Match play
Recall what happens to Preloads if a Robot is not present for a Teamwork Match
Describe when and how Loaders can use the Load Zones
Identify which team plays as red and which team plays as blue in a Teamwork Match
