It is VERY IMPORTANT that all members and parents of the Manvel High School Band download the BAND App and turn notifications to be in the loop! Please put you FULL NAME if you're a student. If you're a parent, please put your FULL NAME and CHILD'S NAME so that we can approve your request to join!
We understand how important it is to know when and where things happen in advance
so that everyone can balance multiple household schedules. Fortunately, we plan rehearsals and performances a WHOLE YEAR in advance! This is our Official Manvel High School Google Calendar - download the app and subscribe to the calendar for all the band events for the whole year!

🚨EVERY BAND STUDENT IN ALVIN ISD NEEDS A PHYSICAL TO PARTICIPATE IN MARCHING BAND!🚨
Alvin ISD has a web-based system, RankOne.com, for tracking physicals of every athlete/performing arts member in the district. Students need to get a physical EVERY YEAR in order to participate. Physicals are active from April 15th 2026 to April 15th 2027. It's very important to have a physical uploaded into RankOne.com before JUNE 1ST 2026!

Physicals need to be done in-person by a licensed physician or your primary pediatrician.
Many clinics around the Manvel/Pearland/Alvin area offer these services for $10-20 in under 30 minutes.
Getting your physical done means you're HALFWAY DONE. You still need to take a picture of the form and upload it into the RankOne.com site for the district to view and approve it.

We will explain how to turn them in later in the semester, but each student needs to have one on file before June 1st.
Members cannot practice/rehearse after June 1st if the updated physical isn’t on file. Upon submitting a completed physical, members will be allowed to practice/rehearse.
Alvin ISD has made a commitment to limit fees. Fees not charged to MHS Band members are:
Transportation
Entry Fees for marching band/ concert band contests
Audition entry fees
Meals before football games/contests
However, students are required to pay a fee for high school band. Exact cost will vary from year to year. The cost for freshmen/new members are higher than returning members.
Fees can be paid via cash, check (made out to Manvel High School Band), or My School Bucks via Jotforms (link at the bottom of the page under 'required forms').
