February was filled with Blind Dates with Books, TELPAS, and reading. Our students loved the opportunity to check out books only by the genre and the 1st line of the book- this was a big hit!

We have kicked off the Space Cowboys Reading Program that rewards students who log 4 books from Feb. 3 - March 25 with a voucher to a baseball game for 2. Please return the forms to Mrs. Jackson.

Our first Read-A-Thon began and our students and teachers are logging reading minutes. Students can log reading from home if their Read-A-Thon accounts have been activated. Students have until March 9th to log mintues.

Our Reading Goal is 120,000 minutes!

224 students registered where they can enter minutes at home and earning coupons for reaching goals of 150 minutes and 250 minutes.
Reading teachers are entering minutes for all students.
40,117 minutes have been recorded for FJH.
Our Read-A-Thon ends on March 9th.
