The Disability and Neurodivergence Alumni Collective’s (DNAC) mission is to celebrate, connect, and support alumni who have experience or identify with disability or neurodivergence*. We are a community and power-building hub inclusive of a range of cognitive and physical differences who advocate for disability justice at Brown and beyond.
DNAC creates opportunities for all members of the Brown community to learn about and engage on issues of disability justice, and works with partners on and off campus to ensure that our community is centered and thriving in all aspects of life. We also welcome alumni who are parents/caregivers to those who experience disabilities and neurodivergence, as well as professionals working towards disability justice in their fields.
* Includes chronic illness, neurodivergence such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, mental illness, physical disabilities, mobility impairments, and sensory disabilities.
