Curriculum

1st Quarter-

Use of Positive Rational Number, Integers and Rational Numbers, and Numeric and Algebraic Expressions. Math 6+ students will also use Negative Rational Numbers. All Math 6 students will be expected to have completed 25% of 6th Grade Khan skills and All Math 6+ students will be expected to have completed 50% of 6th Grade Khan skills

2nd Quarter-

Represent and Solve Equations/Inequalities and Understand and Use Ratio and Rate. All Math 6 students will be expected to have completed 50% of 6th Grade Khan skills and All Math 6+ students will be expected to have completed 100% of 6th Grade Khan skills.

3rd Quarter-

Understand and Use Percent, Solve for Area, Surface Area, and Volume. Math 6+ students will also find the Area and Circumference of Circles and find Volume and Surface Area of Cylinders. All Math 6 students will be expected to have completed 75% of 6th Grade Khan skills and All Math 6+ students will be expected to have completed 50% of 7th Grade Khan skills.

4th Quarter-

Display, Describe, and Summarize Data. Math 6+ students will also work with Population Data and Sampling Methods. All Math 6 students will be expected to have completed 100% of 6th Grade Khan skills and All Math 6+ students will be expected to have completed 100% of 7th Grade Khan skills.
