Computer Use

We are lucky to have many Chromebooks in our classroom. We will use them to supplement our learning often. Students are regularly trained in internet safety, and we have many safeguards in place to keep them out of trouble. Student data privacy is taken very seriously and we follow the district's strict data policies.

All the programs we will use have been approved by the district. Programs that collect too much information are blacklisted at the district level.

Students are provided district-generated Google email addresses for logging into other programs, but we never use the actual email feature in 2nd grade.
