Our Early Learning Center houses the Georgia Pre-K Program, which is funded by the state lottery. This educational program is designed to prepare four-year-olds for Kindergarten. Children who are Georgia residents and are four years old on or before September 1 of the current school year are eligible to attend the Georgia Pre-K Program. It is advisable for parents to enroll their children in Pre-K by March, as our program tends to fill up quickly. In the event that all spots are filled, students will be placed on a waitlist, and we will assist in finding placement in another Pre-K program until space becomes available. To register for Pre-K, proof of a child's age eligibility and Georgia residency is required. Acceptable proof of age includes a birth certificate, passport, hospital record of live birth, green card, pink card, or Federal I-94 card. Satisfactory evidence of residency can be a lease, utility bill, or a letter from a shelter or employer. The following documents are mandatory for Pre-K enrollment:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (DHR Form 3300) on file within 90 calendar days of program entry.
- Up-to-date Immunization records (DHR Form 3231) within 30 calendar days of program entry.
- Medical insurance card
