Luna-lovegood is a well known and loved Harry Potter character but do you really know everything about her? Read this text to find out more about Luna. Luna was born on the 13th February 1981. She is well known for her kind heart but quirky personality. J.K Rowling named her Luna because It means moon in latin and a full moon makes is known to make people and animals go crazy! She is named Lovegood for her kind heart and soul.
Luna's mother died when she was only seven, thus making her father having to raise her by himself. Luna was first sorted into Ravenclaw, one year behind the very famous Harry Potter.
