Gryffindor

*Introduction*

Gryffindor is a hardworking and brave house. The symbol of the house is a lion and the house colours are red and gold. The first Gryffindor/founder was Godric Gryffindor. The main characters in the movie are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. In Gryffindor, there is a special sword called the sword of Gryffindor which is a very powerful sword that kills strong things. Jk Rowling is truly a Gryffindor (that's quite interesting). If you don't know who she is, she is the author of the whole series of books and movies. Gryffindor comes from the French word Gryphon d’or. Another interesting Gryffindor is the house of fire. The house usually causes hatstalls. Godric's hollow was also a home to the Potter family and the Dumbledore and where Voldemort was defeated for the first time ever. The sorting hat started off as Godric Gryffindor's fashion accessory.Godric Gryffindor was an advocate for muggle born wizards. Godric's hollow has been home to many wizards.
