WEEKLY SCHEDUlE

The schedule below will run for the duration of the program, excluding scheduled breaks and national holidays.

Monday to Friday - Full workdays

Saturday - 1/2 work day

Saturday afternoon and full day Sundays - Time off for rest and explore

We can only receive volunteers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 6 pm. We are not able to accommodate arrivals on other days. Please make sure to plan your arrival accordingly.

After you arrive on the program, you will receive a base tour and confirm your emergency contact information. You will likely start working on the site in the afternoon or the next working day.

DAILY SCHEDUlE

Tentative Daily Schedule ( Monday - Saturday ):

6:00 am - Quiet hours end

6:30 am - Leave to site

7:00 am - Work starts

10:00 am - 30 min break

1 pm - Lunch break

2:15 pm - 15 min break

3:45 pm - Site clean up

4:00 pm - Drive back to base

5:00 pm - Required nightly base meeting

6:00 pm - Dinner

9:00 pm - Curfew & Quiet hours

Curfew and quiet hours might change on the weekends.

Our team might take these holidays off:

On some of these days, you will be given a day off from work. We will not schedule arrivals on these days to allow all staff to receive a day off. Please note you are welcome to stay on base for these holidays.

- - September 16 - Independence Day
  - October 1 - Change of President - Day off (please note that travel on this day may be delayed)
  - October 14 - Change of Regional Government
  - November 2 - Dia de los Muertos - Observed
  - November 18 - Revolution Day - Day off

LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM

We anticipate that the program will run from July 23 until December 17, 2024. This is a subject to be changed. Please support us in ensuring that we can run the program sustainably by setting up a personal fundraising page and reaching out to your friends and family, asking for donations and advocacy for our work.
