The Russian Invasion of Ukraine has created the biggest humanitarian crisis in Europe since World War II. Over 12 million people have received some kind of humanitarian assistance since February 25, 2022. Many people were forced to flee or have been internally displaced in Ukraine.
Poland has received the highest number of refugees among neighboring countries. Although the majority of refugees are staying with hosts or in rented accommodation, 15% live in collective sites.
