About this Course: This module will break down the steps from the beginning of standards, the newly approved social studies standards, all the way to implementing lessons. This can typically be seen as the boring and mundane work of a teacher but we are going to look at it as a massive puzzle that we get to build throughout the school year. We will talk about curriculum maps, standards, learning targets, topics, vocabulary, and lessons. The goal is that at the end of this module, you will feel more comfortable developing your own units and realize that planning units can be fun!
