Salt Watch

Salt Watch created by Issak Walton is a process of collecting water samples from creeks or waterways running near roads. This test checks the water for any salt levels that could have come from road salt. We chose this Citizen Science project because in biology class this year, we went out to the local creek that surrounds our school. Every time we went out, we would run several tests to examine the water. Our goal for this project was to test and examine the salt levels from the creeks in our local environment.
