Year 8: finding a critical voice

In Year 8, you will delve into who we are, who or what has power in our lives and how that affects us. You will study three long texts and an anthology of poems exploring identity.

You will also deepen the breadth of your cultural capital in English Literature lessons.

Homework booklet: Year 8s will be given a homework task every two weeks which should take about 30 minutes.

Literacy Quizzes

Literacy Quizzes: Students will be asked to complete a 10-minute literacy quiz each week. This will be set on Google Classroom. If you want to practise yourself in the meantime, here is a link to the quizzes.
