Note from Coach Whitmore

Tyrone is in his fourth year on Varsity Baseball. Tyrone is an incredible athlete with a

personality to match. He enjoys athletics and being around his teammates. Tyrone has

become one of the best baseball players in the league. He was dominant on the mound

last year and a very good hitter and third basemen as well. Tyrone looked exceptional

this preseason as well, and was on track to be one of the best players in the league and

section. How could I not pick his no-hitter last year vs. Elba as my favorite memory of

Tyrone on the field? He dominated that day on the mound as he did in many other

outings last year. I think the one thing as a person that impresses me the most about

Tyrone is his humility and caring nature for all. He has more natural ability than just

about everyone in the school, but he is so humble and kind to all, it is impressive to see.

I’ve been proud to watch Tyrone grow up and become the fine young man he has

become.
