Note from Coach Whitmore

Carson is a second year Varsity Baseball player. Carson is an incredible athlete with a

love to play and compete. He’s very intense in competition, but off the field always has a

smile and a great personality. Carson really came on last year as a baseball player. He

has a powerful arm and was extremely impressive in a few relief appearances last year.

Carson is also very versatile in the field, as he has the ability to be an excellent infielder

or outfielder, and is a very capable hitter as well. My favorite memory last year of Carson

is a relief appearance where he earned the save at Cooperstown. In a tight spot, he shut

down the heart of their order in the 7th inning, as we won a key game vs. Holley to

secure the league title. Carson also looked explosive this preseason and was going to be

a force on our team and in the league this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching

Carson through the years and have appreciated the personality and enthusiasm he

brings to each practice and game.
