Inclusive Practices
Co-teaching in Special Education and ESL has benefits. It lowers the Student/ Teacher ratio, students who work in smaller groups are able to learn and retain more information. Teachers that use this practice are more cohesive as they share their teaching styles. During this session I will share some of the great examples of co-teaching and how to implement effective co-teach models.

Specially Designed Instruction
Instruction has no bounds or limits. It must be specially designed for each and every student, and especially for students with disabilities with exceptional needs. No matter the grade or form of instruction it must be equitable, reaching all students and their specific needs. During this session I will share specifically designed handouts to exemplify the how and why. Students matter, Words matter, Leadership matters and I will present to my audience as to why Equity Matters.

Enhancing Language Learning with Canva
Canva is a popular graphic design tool that can be used to enhance language learning for Emergent Bilinguals. In this professional development session, we will explore different ways to use Canva to create engaging and interactive learning materials that support language acquisition and retention. Here are some of the things that the training will focus on -- Demonstrate how to create visually appealing learning materials such as flashcards, posters, and infographics using Canva
Provide examples of Canva templates that can be used for language learning activities
Share best practices for designing learning materials that are visually appealing, easy to read, and accessible to all students.

This session builds a solid understanding of Edgenuity's essential features by exploring student and educator experiences. Participants will learn how to manage courses and student accounts and identify the different ways to use data to drive student engagement, progress, and achievement.
