Personal Growth Through Reflection

This a journal about two (2) of my students that are in my list of "My Favorite Five" that withdrew from school for reasons that are saddening and are not supposed to happen for teenagers. It did hurt me as their teacher because I made some small progress when it comes to their attendance and academic performance. They do matter to me! I think, all I can do is to keep moving forward and continue to make a difference in someone's life and hopefully it will create some positive results someday!

This is reflection on how my virtual instruction via Zoom is going. I felt the strong need to educate myself with online tools to make virtual instruction more engaging. This will be my priorities from now on since this mode of instruction will stay for awhile but I can't afford to compromise quality of instruction!

My journal when I accepted the offer to become the Skills Specialist for the Science Department. The next school year will be interesting for me. After 15 years in this school, I think I am ready to take this leadership role plus I know TLIIST will arm me with the necessary skills and support that I need moving forward!
