The 2025-2026 school year will be my 29th year in teaching, my 25th at Alburnett. My travels have taken me throughout Europe, Costa Rica, and Brazil. My love of Spanish began in high school when I first became a short term exchange student myself. This love of language and culture started my career, allowing me to lead more than 10 group trips to Costa Rica. I have worked in 2 school districts and briefly as an Exportation Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have a very active family that keeps me busy year round traveling for TCU and UNT college activities (Go Frogs!), Drum Corps competitions, and fun. Disney is one of my family's favorite destinations. I speak 2 languages fluently and a small amount of 4 others.
