Monitoring of email

The Albion Central School District uses BARK to monitor all student activity in our Google Suite, including email. Every key stroke is monitored and an artificial intelligence program searches for words and phrases that might suggest inappropriate behavior. Our administrative team is sent emails to indicate that an incident may have occurred and may require intervention. Parents can also get this information depending on the severity of the incident. BARK also provides parents with the ability to track student cellphone usage (a fee is required for this service).
