Civil Rights Voices Speak Project

"Amplifying the Voices of our Forebears to Empower Future Generations"

Welcome to the Civil Rights Voices Speak Project! This project is made possible by the Robert Frederick Smith Fund Fellowship at the host site of the National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African American Culture at Alabama State University.

The Civil Rights Voices Speak Project aims to preserve the voices of a fading generation which can still provide firsthand accounts of historic events pertaining to the civil rights movement. This project is part of our organization's vision to foster research, teaching and learning.
