From Tim
We just launched a pretty awesome project that I'm proud to be a part of! Khan Academy partnered with Adobe (the PDF and Photoshop folks) to create sets of science activities for Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for middle school and high school (hs bio is coming soon). These resources are totally free, of course!
One of our goals was to make them as accessible as possible. These activities don't require expensive equipment and hard-to-acquire materials. They're aligned to the NGSS, and you can download editable copies to adjust them to state standards as necessary. Each activity includes a detailed guide for teachers. Please share them with other science teachers!!
The high school physics activities were developed by yours truly!! I'm really excited to see how teachers and students around the -world will use them.
Feedback is super important to us, so if you use any of these activities please share your thoughts using the feedback form. You can also reach out to me personally if you have any questions, etc.
