I am a Professor of Psychology and Program Director of the Master of Science in School Psychology - Specialist program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She received her doctorate degree in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of Denver and a Master of Science in Human Development from the University of Maine. I am a licensed School Psychologist in the State of Alaska, a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NSCP), and a Licensed Psychologist in Alaska. My teaching encompasses a range of topics including infant and early childhood mental health, research methods, children and adolescent mental health, family-centered practices, and systems-level work. I have published in numerous peer-reviewed journals on topics of early childhood behavioral assessment and intervention, family collaboration, children's mental health, and culturally-responsive practices in early childhood. I am passionate about workforce development in both early childhood and school psychology and have sought to secure numerous grants to support these efforts.
