Project i-SPARRC is designed for students who are enrolled in the University of Alaska Anchorage Master of Science in School Psychology Specialist graduate program. Interested students must apply to BOTH the graduate program and Project i-SPARRC by February 1st for admission. See below for more information.

Are there requirements for participating in Project i-SPARRC?
YES. Individuals accepted into Project i-SPARRC must agree to the following:
Complete the requirements for the Master of Science in School Psychology - Specialist degree
Work for an equivalent of 2-years post graduation as a School Psychologist (preferably in Alaska but not restricted to only Alaska)
Attend the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Annual Convention (travel costs paid)
Present at a local, state, or national conference on culturally and linguistically informed assessment, intervention, and/or behavioral and mental health services
What are the benefits of participating in Project i-SPARRC?

Tuition and Scholarships
Project i-SPARRC provides financial support for selected scholars to complete the Master of Science in School Psychology - Specialist program at UAA.
Scholars receive up to $20,000 in tuition and scholarships, a computer, and books.
Travel Support
Travel Support
Project i-SPARRC scholars receive travel funding to attend the National Association of School Psychologists Annual Convention.
Scholars also receive a travel stipend to attend the required on-campus summer intensive course.
Build Connection
Build Connection
Project i-SPARRC scholars build connection with other school psychologists as they work toward expanding and advocating for comprehensive school psychology services across the State of Alaska.
How do I apply?
Project i-SPARRC Applications open on November 1st and are due on February 1st.
Interested students must also apply for admission to the MS in School Psychology - Specialist program.
