"The Well" is a new, physical (334 Duckering Building) and on-line space on the UAF campus dedicated to activities promoting the happiness and wellbeing of students, staff and faculty.

Mission statement:

To provide resources promoting the Happiness & Wellbeing of students, staff and faculty at the University of Alaska.

Positivity, Creativity, Optimism, Inclusivity

Community: the Well is part of a growing network of maker spaces at UAF.

This location has in the past hosted free, drop-in, all-welcome (including beginners) meditation classes work days (Mon.- Fri. 1:10 pm to 1:40 - see calendar below) for all students, staff and faculty.

However, due to COVID this has been put on hold for right now. Join our e mail mailing list to get notifications of future events etc.


This location is also a resource promoting talks, events, groups and seminars dedicated to activities promoting happiness and wellbeing.
