"The Well" is a new, physical space (334 Duckering Building) on the UAF campus dedicated to activities promoting the wellbeing of students, staff and faculty.

Mission statement:

To provide resources promoting the Happiness & Wellbeing of students, staff and faculty at the University of Alaska.

Core values:

Positivity, Creativity, Optimism, Inclusivity

This location is planning to host free, drop-in, all-welcome (including beginners) meditation classes almost* every work day (Mon. - Fri., 1 pm to 1:30) to all students, staff and faculty during the fall semester.

*Below is a link to a calendar showing when the classes are on.

This location is also a venue for visiting talks and seminars dedicated to presenting activities promoting happiness and wellbeing.

Topics will include, time management, digital minimalism, nutrition, yoga, etc.
