The SILKAT ED594 courses are offered to certified teachers from any Alaska school district.
Cost of the tuition will be partially covered by the School of Education Alaskans to Teach Alaska Grant. You will be responsible for $40 of the tuition.

- Follow the steps to register as a "Non-degree Seeking Student" (Under the 'Just want to take a class?' tab) for FALL semester
- Follow the steps to register as a "Non-degree Seeking Student" (Under the 'Just want to take a class?' tab) for FALL semester
-Your application will take a day or two to process. Once you are active in the system, complete Step 2.

-Go to this page: Office of the Registrar's website
-Click on the 'Add Classes' form and log in with your UA email and password (If you don't know your password or UA username, visit: https://elmo.alaska.edu/)
-You will need to add the term (Fall), the course number (ED F594), CRN (Regular: 76857; Advanced: TBD), title (Core Practices Place-based Art) and credits (3) to the form. Then click to sign the form and push 'submit' at the bottom of the form. (See screenshot below for reference)

When you apply, your preferred email address is set to your new @alaska email address. All UA communication will be sent to your preferred email. If you regularly use another email address, consider updating your preferred email to ensure you receive important communications.
To update your preferred email in UAOnline:
Log in to UAOnline: uaonline.alaska.edu
Select Menu in the top left corner.
Select My Profile.
Select Personal Information.
Update the email field to your preferred email address.
