Core Practice PD Spotlights

In order to deepen and extend the use of the core practices across all the curriculum, these short (20-30 minutes max) PD activities can be used by BSSD schools, facilitated by SILKAT lead teachers and liaisons. Each “Spotlight” highlights one core practice in which examples of the core practice will be shared, followed by participation in a short engaging hands-on activity related to the core practice. Finally, staff will be able to reflect on how they have used the core practice and identify a next step in their classroom teaching.
