This time can also be used to encourage students that this does not have to just be a school project, but that it can be something they do on their own. Refer back to the people that have been taking native fashion to New York and all over. This is a cool way for them to preserve a piece of their culture, and to share it with the world.
The bigger and more authentic the audience, the more effort and thought they will put into their work from the start.
