Watch this video with students.
You can talk about how native fashion has changed and adapted to more modern society.
The styles are more modern, but they still use patterns and techniques from traditional clothing and styles.
Have your students choose an item (clothing, shoes, hats, scarves, hoodies, shirts, pants)
Students can research an item and how it has changed, developed, been viewed as art.
Have students look up traditional Eskimo Design, decorations, clothing, etc
Have them take notes on their findings
They can also be sketching patterns, designs, or writing colors they like on the back of the page.
