To access tag panel options, right-click a tag within the Tag Tree. There are many options within the tag panel to help you work within the Tag Tree.
- New Tag: creates a new tag that appears after the selected tag
- Cut: remove a tag and place it on the clipboard
- Paste: inserts the tag from the clipboard into the desired location and replaces the selected tag
- Paste Child: inserts the tag from the clipboard into the desired location within the sequence of the selected tag. It will then appear in hierarchical order within the Tag Tree one level beneath the selected tag.
- Delete Tag: remove the tag from the Tag Tree (You are strongly encourage not to do this!)
- Find Tag From Selection: searches the Tag Tree for a tag that contains desired text
- Create Tag From Selection: creates a new tag based on highlighted text within the document. The new tag will appear after the selected tag within the Tag Tree
- Find: search for artifacts, OCR, untagged content, links, and annotations.
- Change Tag to Artifact: removes the tagged content from the tag tree completely, making it invisible to assistive technology
- Copy Content to Clipboard: copies all content within the tag structure to the clipboard
- Tag Annotations: adds all new comments and form fields to the Tag Tree
- Highlight Content: encloses corresponding content in the document in a highlighted box
- Properties: open Object Properties dialog box
