1. Set up a gmail email account
2. Set up your own signature
   1. Locate settings icon (top right- gear symbol)
   2. Create a personalized signature
      1. Name
      2. Title
      3. Email
      4. Phone number
3. Assignment: Exploration of gmail
   1. Using gmail account send emails to 4 other classmates.
      1. One email must include an attachment photo of your favorite food
      2. Next email play around with the Cc and Bcc options
      3. For 3rd email insert a link to your email
      4. For the 4th email explore the, reply all
   2. Create 2 folders
      1. One for this class and another one of your choice
1. Hangout & Chat
   1. Watch intro video. Google Hangout intro video
   2. Navigate to Google Hangout
   3. Meet with 1-2 other classmates on Hangout
   4. During hangout session requirements
      1. Send chats to each other
      2. Everyone must practice sharing their screen
      3. Practice muting and disabling video sharing options

   3. Navigate to Google drive Google Drive
   4. If needed sign into gmail account using circle icon located at the top right corner of the page
   5. Assignment: Explore Google Drive
      1. Explore all the available features of Google Drive
         1. Will explore deeper in Block 2 and 3
         2. Locate the following
            1. My Drive
            2. Shared with me
            3. Recent
            4. Starred
            5. Trash
            6. Storage
         3. Create a new folder in your drive
3. Google science journal
   1. Download the Google Science Journal app
      1. Create an account
   2. Explore options for a final project using Google Science Journal
   3. Pick one science experiment that uses this app
      1. Examples
         1. Build the tallest tower
         2. Balloon-powered car challenge
      2. Discuss how you can use this app in your own classroom
