The University of Alaska has connected the Argos dashboards and reports to the Banner production reporting environment. The data is near real-time data, mirroring production within 90 seconds.
What roles are available in Argos?
What roles are available in Argos?
Argos Administrators - This role is responsible for the Argos system setup and can help with login and system settings.
Datablock designers - Argos “power users” who create Datablocks
Report Writers - Intermediate users who use DataBlocks to build a variety of reports.
Report Viewers - Casual users who are able to run reports and save and distribute the output in a variety of useful formats.
What is an OLAP cube?
OLAP stands for online analytical processing. OLAP cubes allow you to drag and drop dimensions, then filter, group, and sort the data to get the information you need quickly and easily. They have sometimes been called "a million spreadsheets in a box" because of how easily they can be rearranged to convey completely different information.
