To be eligible for the Daniels Scholarship Program, students must:
Be a graduating high school senior
Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming
Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
Earn a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in high school (on an unweighted 4.0 scale)
Earn a minimum SAT Math score of 490, a minimum Evidence-Based Reading & Writing score of 490, or a minimum ACT score of 18 in each category. Super scoring is not accepted.
Meet financial eligibility requirements. The applicant's parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must have an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $85,000 or less on the 2021 tax return on which the applicant is claimed as a dependent.
Applicants must be:
Current high school (or home-schooled) student attending a school in the U.S. (or select DoD schools) who will graduate during the 2022-2023 academic school year
U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees - based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
Expecting to receive high school diploma during current academic year
Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution
Able to verify a minimum overall B/3.0 GPA in high school coursework
Applicants may not be:
Children or grandchildren of current employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions, or subsidiaries.
Children or grandchildren of former employees who are currently receiving retirement benefits based on their previous employment with Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions, or subsidiaries.
International students (with the exception of students at DoD schools)

In 2021-2022, the NMAA Foundation distributed a scholarship in memory of Mr. Mike Danoff - attorney, AAU basketball coach, and longtime supporter of interscholastic athletics and activities here in New Mexico.
This scholarship will once again be awarded during the 2022-2023 school year, but the application process is different from others awarded by the Foundation because the student recipient will be recognized during the annual New Mexico Bowl held in December. If you have students that are interested in applying for this scholarship, please share the attached flyer. The deadline for applications is November 4, 2022. A common application for Billie Holder Memorial Rotary Scholarship, Rotary Club of Alamogordo Medical Careers Scholarship, and the Shelby Miller Memorial Business Rotary Scholarship. The Rotary Club of Alamogordo is pleased to award academic scholarships to college/university. students who are residents of Otero County. These scholarships are given in honor of Mr. Billie Holder, past owner/editor of the Alamogordo Daily News and Past District Governor (Rotary District 5520), and Mr. Shelby Miller, Past Club President as well as an outstanding citizen and businessman. The JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND offers a scholarship to residents of Otero County for the purpose of advancing education or skills by students attending a university, college, community/junior college, trade/vocational school, or training course. Funds will be distributed for the purpose of aiding the applicant in advancing education or skill. The Scholarship Committee of the Rotary Club of Alamogordo shall have sole discretion to determine the recipient(s). An applicant who once is approved for assistance shall receive priority consideration for subsequent award(s) provided a grade point average (GPA) above that required for graduation is maintained while carrying a case load of not less than three quarter status if enrolled in an undergraduate program, or not less than half time status if enrolled as a graduate student.
