AISZ Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Building a connected, welcoming school community
The PTA plays an active role in building a strong and connected school community. Our focus is simple: create opportunities for families to connect, support school life, and contribute in meaningful ways.
We do this by:
Organizing community events and initiatives
Supporting communication between parents and the school
Encouraging parent involvement across all grades
Helping new families feel welcome and connected
The PTA connects parents, Room Parents, and school leadership so that information, ideas, and feedback can move effectively across the school community.
We work through:
Regular meetings between the PTA team and AISZ leadership to share updates, discuss priorities, and bring forward parent feedback.
Close coordination with Room Parents, who help us stay connected to the needs and perspectives of families across all grades.
Lower School and Upper School PTA Leaders, who help coordinate communication and priorities within each division.
Ongoing collaboration within the PTA team to plan community-building activities, coordinate volunteers, and support PTA initiatives.
