Join the AISZ community and thousands of people across Zagreb for the 27th Terry Fox Run in Croatia!

Never heard of Terry Fox? His story is worth knowing.

At just 21 years old, after losing a leg to cancer, Terry set out to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Running on a prosthetic leg, he covered an incredible 5,373 km in 143 days before his cancer returned. His Marathon of Hope inspired a global movement that continues today.

The Terry Fox Run is not a race. Everyone can take part. Run, walk, rollerblade, bring the kids, and enjoy a sporty Sunday at Jarun while supporting cancer research.

This year, funds raised in Croatia will support cancer research at the Ruđer Bošković Institute.

AISZ families will meet at the starting area so we can take a community photo and start together.

Grab your bikes and join the AISZ community for a Saturday ride along the Sava River, passing four lakes: Bundek, Jarun, Orešje and Rakitje.

The route is mostly flat and family-friendly. Ride the full route or join us for part of the journey.

• Meet at the AISZ sports fields at 9:30 a.m.
• Departure at 9:50 a.m.
• 22 km each way, approximately 1.5 hours of cycling
• Break for drinks and snacks at Zagreb Camp
• Group departure from Zagreb Camp back to AISZ around 1:00 p.m.

No bike? AISZ has adult and children’s bikes, as well as helmets, available. School bikes should be returned to AISZ by 4:00 p.m.

Game, set, match!

Parents and teachers, join us for the 7th AISZ Community Tennis Tournament, a morning of doubles tennis, friendly competition and fun with the AISZ community.

All playing levels are welcome, so you don’t need to be an experienced player to join.

Have a doubles partner? Great, sign up together. Coming on your own? No problem, we’ll help match you with someone.

Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the tournament.
